MAD #3
Edit/correction: It has come to our attention that this page is from a special 3-D edition of MAD, not from MAD #3. Wood redrew the story especially for the 3-D version.
MAD #15
September 1954
The single black and white page seen here is in color in the original story. I added it because I mistakenly did not scan the color version of the page when I owned the book from which the other images come.
MAD #7
Oct. - Nov. 1953
The first five images are scans of the original artwork, obtained from the Heritage Auctions website. The final two are from the Russ Cochran set of reprints.
I have no objection whatsoever if you want to download these images and post them elsewhere. Post them everywhere. No need to mention this blog, but if you would, do mention that they were done by Wally (Wallace) Wood.
"Where Better Drawrings Are Drawrn, They're Drawrn By WOOD!"
When Wally Wood was a child, we are told, he had a dream in which he came into possession of a Magic Pencil, with which he could do a beautiful drawing of anything he wished.
